 Dear Alum:

We hope that you will be able to attend this year's Homecoming and participate in the activities of the ISUCF'V' Alumni MB. We're already working to make sure the field is accurately marked, the ham salad is fresh, the old instruments are untarnished, the drinks are cold, and the ache ointment is delivered ALL IN TIME FOR THE OCTOBER 18th ARRIVAL OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST ALUMNI BAND!!!

Hey, . . . hop to! Homecoming is right around the corner and we need you to send in your registration form TODAY!!! Our Marching Band Alumni Council, under the direction of President Jim Wilcox, has also been hard at work organizing this year's event. They've promised to have things structured at least as keenly as they play their instruments, but please come anyway! It is a guaranteed great time.

As much as we enjoy seeing the same faces each year, it is also gratifying to see new ones. If you haven't taken the virgin voyage back to the haunts of your collegiate career, NOW IS THE TIME! Until you've taken the field as a marching band alum, you just haven't lived. Right? Right!

Matt Smith, our marching band director, is beginning his second year and will have his typically incredible, not-to-be-believed halftime show! Matt has been a tremendous addition to the band program at ISU which he has assumed in his usual unassuming way, assuming that he only assumed the position on the assumption that others would assume that he was assumed to be qualified. He is!

So fill out that registration and make plans to join us on October 17th-18th for a simply spectacular Homecoming. We look forward to having you back on campus!
