Pep Bands Win Pair
By: Jay Chapman '92

The ISU Alumni Pep Bands enjoyed two more basketball victories this past season. It looks like the band is back on it's winning streak!  It started with a Men's 76-55 victory over in-state rival Drake. The game marked the middle game of the three game swing that gave ISU the mythical basketball state title.

The game was a little closer with the Women's 72-70 triumph over Kansas.  Some last game free throws helped ISU and the Alumni band head home happy again.

The group decided to look into playing for more games this upcoming season, so watch for more information on Pep band opportunities.

The basketball pep bands have become the second most popular Alumni Band event after Homecoming. Be sure to indicate your interest in pep band on the Homecoming survey.
