Steve Hovey 2002 Scholarship Recipient

Steven Hovey is the 2002 ISU Alumni Band Scholarship recipient. The Maquoketa Iowa native has been a three year member of the ISU Marching Band, and has served one year as a right guide. Along with performing in the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, Steven has worked on the Student Band Staff for three years, twice serving as Manager. The Music Education major has a brother, Matt, and sister, Bess, who were both Music Ed majors and Marching Band members. Steven plans on graduating in the Spring of 2004, and hopes to be a band director.
