Support the Adopt-The-Band Campaign

Iowa State University has many traditions, but as you all know, few symbolize the energy of its students as well as the Cyclone Bands. The nonstop showmanship and enthusiasm of the bands captures every member of the audience.

ISU alumni and friends take pride in the Cyclone Bands and the outstanding young men and women who represent the university with such dedication and talent. Now, through the Adopt-The-Band Campaign, you have a great opportunity to demonstrate that pride and to provide direct support to all eight bands. Your support will ensure that Cyclone Bands remain the best in the land.

Launched during the '95 football season, Adopt-The-Band was designed to raise cash on an annual basis as well as provide a way for members of the Alumni Band to support the fund raising campaign with cash contributions ranging from $25 to $5000 annually.

For annual contributions of $100 or more, a donor may select a specific rank position. The program is modeled after the National Cyclone Club which entitles the donor additional perks and bonuses for each level of giving. All donations greater than $100 will also be recognized in the football program.

The largest fundraising effort in the band's history, the campaign seeks to raise $1 million in endowment funds. The Adopt-The-Band Campaign will also help put cash into the endowment now so that income is available for urgent needs such as new uniforms and instruments.
