President's Letter

Dear ISU Band Alum:

This is your invitation to attend the 17th Annual Alumni Band Reunion. Like family reunions, all members of the band family are welcome. This means past members of pep band, marching band, wind ensemble, jazz bands, and concert band, like me, are all welcome to participate in all activities of the Alumni Band.

If you can't make it to Homecoming, our family holds other gatherings. During the year you can ride a float at VEISHEA, experience "Hilton Magic" in the pep band at a men's basketball game, and this year you can participate in an Alumni Band golf outing. You should be warned however, that all events are highly addictive and each has its own unique side effects.

The band family is strong, as each year over 150 members return and participate in various activities. But we can always be stronger, so whether this is your first or seventeenth reunion, mark down October 24 & 25, 1997 and plan to attend. I look forward to seeing you there.
