Welcome to another exciting issue of the Alumni Band Newsletter!!! We have made a few changes and hope you enjoy it.

As most of you know, there are thousands of Alumni Band members. We like to show off what our members are doing, but unfortunately, don't have a good information source on everyone. So, if you have something news-worthy for the next newsletter, tell us! Interesting jobs, volunteer projects, kid stories, anything - drop us a line and you, or someone you know, could be in next year's newsletter. For example, we do know of quite a few new babies this summer, are you one of these new parents?

Many exciting things have been taking place over this last year. One of these things is that we are in the process of starting a web site! Jeff Wellman and Doug Lim have been hard at work producing a site to be proud of, and we hope to give you more details at Homecoming. Also, the Adopt-The-Band Campaign is going extremely well. If you haven't put in your pledge yet, please give it some serious thought - your name could even be on your position in the band! And yes, we will be golfing again this year for those of you who are interested, please send in the registration form.

Speaking of the registration form, even though many of you enjoy reading about our activities every year, some of you may not. You can indicate on the registration form (or contact the Band Office) that you would like your name removed from the list if you do not wish to receive this publication. Remember, a good portion of the registration fee for Homecoming goes towards this publication alone, so only those attending pay for the cost.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as can possibly fit on the football field at Homecoming this year. Enjoy the newsletter and we'll see you in October!
